Toluna

By becoming a member of Toluna, you will get the chance to test products and to give your opinion to retailers and manufacturers. Also take surveys to share your views, you will be rewarded with entries into their monthly prize draws with the big one being $5,000 each month, you also get to keep the products you test, which is pretty cool in my book.

On top of the prize draw you also earn points for every survey you complete at Toluna, points can be redeemed for prepaid Eftpos cards and Paypal. Toluna is in my on top list for one of the best survey sites in 2012!

Toluna simply does not respond to any queries/complaints or problems that might arise (There is an initial automated message that they will respond shortly, but shortly never comes!!!). Numberous conducts simply are unanswered yet Toluna constantly sents out survey invitations. Is this actually a legitimate company? Certaiinly it is not accountable in my experience.Treat with care many hours spent answering surveys that usually are much longer than indicated to start with might not ever end in the meager reward you think you might get eventually

Sorry to hear your issues that you are having with Toluna Kay, you have to understand that sites like Toluna with 1 million members or more can not possibly get to all problems that are sent to them. I guess it is just a question of available resources. The good news is though at the end of the day you do get paid, if you think the reward for the surveys you do is not fair compensation for your time, then I guess you should look at other sites to try out and see if they are any better.

Remember at the end of the day this is not a full time income and shouldn’t be treated as such, this a bit of extra money you can earn from home and is generally untaxed, I guess it is up to the individual if a particular site is for them or not.

I have tried to unsubscribe for months – and i am still receiving multiple emails (SPAM actually – as i have withdrawn my consent to recieving them).
I also sent requests through the various “Contact us” options – no reply, still “subscribed”.

My next call will be to the ACCC.
Further to “Adam/Toluna’s comment above. Of coursee no one is expecting to make their full time income from these surveys – however they do expect that their own time and any commitment they make to any such survey is respected. Our time is money too!

Hi Mia, I have heard of you people that are having the same issue with Toluna, my suggestion to stop getting emails from Toluna is to create a new email account a throw away one that you do not care about, Gmail or Hotmail etc is ideal for this. Login to Toluna and change your registered email address to the new one. It doesn’t deelte your account but at least you are no longer recieving unwanted emails from them.
